A Feast for Thought

So, in case you are wondering, I have suspended my intention to run for congress. Not that I don't feel that i have a great platform or good ideas. the reason i don't think I can go forward is that I have two camps around me. Those who do think I have the right perspective and those who say, Russ as a Congressman? OMG! The ones that matter most to me are, in fact in the latter camp. They don't really know what I am trying to accomplish because politics don't matter the same to everyone. But, since they are the very people who would be placed in the spotlight should I do this, I have decided that I can not place them in such a position. My intent from the start was to shake things up and make enemies by pointing out where my fellow Americans have been lied too. The heat would have been far too high for family and friends who would not be able to handle the attention. So, for the moment, I am withdrawing my previous notices for the sake of my family.
